I don’t know about you, but when I think of Nautical fashion the first thing that pops into my head is Jean Paul Gaultier, french men with garlic and some sort of naughty goings on in a Carry On film! However, it would seem that hot designers have gone with the salty sailor maritime theme, with some dramatic changes.

I guess it only makes sense as anything ship and sea related tends to conjure up images of tropical paradise and golden beaches, so at least we’ll all be feeling hot hot hot. Traditionally, nautical colours are navy and white but now with clever use of bright colours fashion designers have managed to create an almost cheeky look, one that seems to have gained inspiration from a mix of sailor and tropical pirate dress.

With weather forecasters predicting a long dry summer here in the UK, with a bit of luck we’ll all be soaking up a few rays of sunshine. I suppose the question is where?. Okay, so we’re all feeling the pinch at the moment and money is definitely tight, but fear not because now we can grab our colourful sailor outfits, don our bright fashion jewellery and bring some Caribbean paradise right here to Great Britain.

If you’ve found the outfit and are looking for some quirky fashion accessories to go with it, then why not give our French Nautical Fashion Earrings a try. Remember, dressing up in a nautical theme doesn’t mean you have to wear the eye patch and stick a parrot on your shoulder. Most importantly the designers are trying to get across an idea of fun with the use of experimental and colourful themes, so you could dress up in sailor pink and bling up your look with this brooch clip, still maintaining a feminine look. Good luck!
