Latest Fashion Style Ideas.

Hot news just off the press is that this Autumn and Winter 2009 fashion is all about boho! It’s boho with a difference because we normally associate boho fashion as relaxed, unkempt, hippie and Gothic style but this season it will be blended with other looks to create an exciting and enticing city boho chic. – Usually boho style is created with an infusion of different design pieces, but this season the emphasis is on creating a kind of calculated style, which is far off from the usual boho way of things.

So you might be thinking 'What do I need to do to?’ in order to get the right balance between boho chic and someone who has just crawled out of a city wheelie bin. Yes, It’s a fine balancing act but if you just follow these simple rules you’ll be well on your way to making that all important fashion statement.

  • Colours well worth adding to your collection will be red, pink and black (most womens get out of jail card).
  • Stick to those colours and buy yourself a short sassy dress. Pretty much as short as you can deal with and as much as you dare! The dress can be plain but should ideally have patterned sequins or studs.
  • Must have fashion accessories will be those almost dreaded thigh high boots. Don’t get confused with knee high boots because these must be at least four inches above the knee. No need to spend a fortune here because this is a fashion fad that doesn’t need to cost the earth if it can be avoided!
  • If you just don’t have the legs or thighs for the job, don’t panic because help is at hand. Still go for the dress but get yourself a pair of black leggings. Ideally, the dress should cover those don’t need to know bits and the black coloured leggings will instantly help to make you look thinner. Get baggy thigh high boots or a set of big heels to accompany!
  • Even if you do have the legs for the short sassy dress you can still go for the leggings just to break things up and create a new look. In fact go all out and bag yourself some leather leggings, but if that’s a bit too expensive then there’s plenty of good PVC alternatives out there.
  • Create boho style with fashion accessories. Hippie style hair bands, faux fur body warmers, long fitting boho necklaces and gypsy earrings can all help finish the daytime look. Evening boho can be more sophisticated with vintage chic jewellery for a classy and sassy finishing touch.

Good luck girls x x x

Yeah, know what you mean about the whole leg thing. Myself, I’ve got thunder thighs but with a shorter skirt and black leggings it really does cover up those wobbly bits!
