We All Need Some Versatile Jewellery!
Versatile fashion is the bees knees.
Sometimes when the changeover from one fashion season to another occurs we can all be a bit guilty of fixating on one particular style and ending up with a bit of a mish mash effect in our wardrobes! The best way to avoid this happening is by stocking up on a few key essential fashion items and adding some versatile pieces to them. By doing this not only will you save a few quid but you will certainly be one step ahead from many others meaning you can keep your look fresh, contemporary and most importantly in fashion!
What is versatile.
Before you can go out and achieve this goal you need to have an understanding of what the word versatile actually means, because versatile can sound almost like a very vague word, but actually in the world of fashion makes perfect sense! There are certain colours and items of clothing that will just about always come in handy, will almost never go out of fashion and will be worth more than their weight in Gold if you look after them. You wouldn’t think twice about owning a good pair of denim jeans, because jeans will always be acceptable at anytime of the year, so the same thought process should be put into action when on the hunt for some versatile clothing and accessories. Look for neutral colours that pick up on this seasons key styles but most importantly ask yourself the following questions:-
- Could I pull off wearing this item well with more than one other colour?
- Is this item going to be useful for more than one fashion season?
- Can I wear this item with other styles to create an entirely new look?
- Can this item be worn both outdoors and indoors?
- Can I add different accessories to this item?
- Finally, do I consider this item as great value for money?
If the answer is yes to all of these then you’re on to a winner, and there’s a high chance that you’ll reap the rewards of versatility! So you’re starting to get the idea about the clothes, but what about the jewellery?
What is versatile jewellery?
Versatile costume jewellery is clever jewellery. It doesn’t need to be too dramatic, yet it shouldn’t have to be discreet, and it should always include some neutral colours for maximum exposure and colour coordination. Versatile accessories can be pictured easily with different colour combinations and should always be easy on the eyes. If your favourite colour is red then your ideal versatile accessories should have tones of either black, red, green or grey. If it’s blue then white, blue or black and so on. It’s all about using your choice of colours wisely to gain maximum exposure with as many different looks as possible. However, there are some pretty safe bets when it comes to choosing versatility. For example, pearls, glitzy stud earrings and black jewellery will always be acceptable and every woman should own at least one of these items!
As with all our fashion tips and advice the most important thing to remember and do is have fun. Be yourself and don’t spend too much!
